Walter Jowers’ Sausage Gravy Recipe

“The way my mother made it”


Ingredients:
Sausage
Sausage drippings
Flour
Salt
Black Pepper
Sweet Milk


Directions:
Cook sausage until brown. Remove most of the sausage and drain on a paper towel. Add flour, salt, and pepper to drippings. Stir and cook this for at least a minute. Add milk and cook – stir until thick.
